Joint military exercises in Rwanda: Towards a new security and defense architecture in East Africa (DIEEEI67-2012)

Immersed in a conflictive region, the East Africa Community has initiated a process towards the actualization of its security and defence structures, in order to confront the permanent threats to the stability of those countries. The reinforcement of EAC’s capacities as well as cooperation with other continental and international actors will be one of the key factors in the short term.
