Criminal economy and business risk following the peace process in Colombia (DIEEEO74-2016)

In 2012 a process of peace negotiations starts between the Colombian authorities and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) in Havana and in March 2016 start of a similar process with the National Liberation Army (ELN); in the short term peace agreements will be signed which means the end of one of the most important conflict in recent history. However it is conducting an analysis of the latest trends in violence suggests that the post-conflict scenario will not reach a reduction of insecurity, because the mutation of the threat to the criminal economy led by groups of organized crime (BACRIM) and focusing attention on the corporate sector operating in the country.
