Towards a reorganization of the Middle East? Turkey's role (DIEEEO75-2015)

Middle East has traditionally been characterized as common intervention scenario of powers outside the region, being oil wealth and strategic trading position the reasons that prompt intervention to exercise direct or indirect control over its wealth. The instability associated with any foreign intervention has been complemented by regional phenomena and dynamics of confrontation between blocs and social deficiencies that have resulted in riots, civil wars and frozen conflicts. Thus, the study of the region, its internal and external stakeholders, and key issues and challenges facing the region may be better predisposed to make a value judgment on the future of the region and to understand a little more a so vital region to our economic and security interests.
