Durban: Towards the binding solution (DIEEEI04-2012)

The climate change Summit in Durban last December has meant an extension of the Kyoto Protocol which expires this year and a commitment to establishing a new protocol binding no later than 2015. It is an open enough solution to satisfy most of the participants, including the European Union, United States and China. Among which show disagree are Russia, Canada and Japan and India and the majority of NGOs.
