The Geoeconomics Arctic. The point of no return (DIEEEO95-2015)

Climate change has transformed the Arctic into an important economic region. The melting process of the most northern region in the world is discovering new and significant sources of natural resources, from hydrocarbons such as oil or gas to minerals such as gold, zinc, lead uranium or even other very uncommon earth elements. All these resources, which were before inaccessible due to ice covering, are now accessible to states close to the Arctic Polar Circle, which have had no doubt in beginning exploitation.
