Erosion, climate change and global security on Spanish coasts (DIEEEM09-2017)

It combines the interaction of Spanish peninsular erosion and Spanish coasts with the contexts of climate change and human pressure, security and transit in the Strait of Gibraltar and the Mediterranean sea, with a holistic vision that reaches the endogenous phenomena of Spain, the model of growth, water, energy purification, spills, etc. and ecosystems affected by the increase of greenhouse gases. From the external point of view are incorporated the great natural phenomena of influence of the Gulf Stream and the Sahel Strip, EU policies and the Mediterranean environment for security, against desertification, and in favor of the climate on land and sea, coordinated with coastal prevention and surveillance, together with the increasing vulnerability of the atmospheric environment on the peninsular coasts, supported by scientific and statistical arguments in the ambits of the Paris agreement on climate change.
