Ethics in Military Organization and Operations (DIEEEO29-2013)

The implementation of ethics requires knowledge of the rules and laws governing the military profession It is also critical for leaders to apply ethics assume values and embed them in the organizational culture in units, centres and military agencies as well as a correct application in operations.
There are instruments that can be applied in military organizations to promote ethics and social responsibility as they can be the establishment of codes of conduct, ethics committees, the development of systems of selection and promotion of personnel as well as the implementation of specific training programs. The situations specific to military operations require the possible use of the force by solving ethical dilemmas that require the application of the rules of engagement, the targeting and use of weapons in the area acces control.
