The effects of climate change on aspects such as the increase in global temperatures, the decrease in rainfall, the rise of the sea level and desertification are advancing and are beginning to emerge in large areas of the planet. North Africa is one of the regions of the globe that is most exposed to these dynamics and its effects on the food security of high percentages of the population and on the security of the very same states of the region.
