Since the Peace of Westphalia, the classic form of financing the war, war waged with national armies, went into the coffers of states, supported on the basis of taxes paid by citizens.
The emergence of new non-state actors in the context of globalization has allowed the ones known as "new" wars, employ global flows to finance, by means and ways interconnected with organized crime.
Of all these actors, it highlights the terrorist organization Daesh, of which an outline of its financing sources is made, and a final generic assessment arises.
