Like any other human right to water is not unlimited. Factors such as the availability of water limited by geographical location, water resources and environment contribute to its finite nature. Therefore, the economic costs to the management and conservation lead to the dismantling of immediate recognition and access of law. That is why the scope of the right to water must be studied from a point of view that does not have a non-exclusive perspective that only takes into account legal developments but points such as security, sovereignty, shortages on water or the environment.
