At a time in which the territorial claims in the South China Sea increase in intensity and erode the neighborhood relations, the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague has issued its ruling on the disputed sovereignty of the Spratly Islands or Nansha Islands (Chinese). Is the first legal stone in a sea of small rocks and artificial territories, a judgment that has not been favorable to the ambitions of Beijing.
