The flags of the Arab countries present a similar range of colours on their respective designs: green, white, black and red. Although the placement of them and the arrangement of the stripes, as well as the accompaniment of other elements, is different between the banners, the origin of those colours is similar: pan-Arabism. Each one of them represents a dynasty or stage of the influence of Islam, so they have a singular meaning. However, the symbology could be different between countries, submitted to historical and national features typical of idiosyncrasy of each region.
